Akasa's Computex booth

A sneak peek at the Akasa booth (M0735 - 4F) where a blue version of the Turing is on display, as well as artistic Raspberry Pi / Tinker board cases. Akasa is stepping up its game when it comes to aesthetics.

Update: The Turing case is formally launched:

"Akasa Launches the New Turing Fanless Chassis for 8th Generation Intel NUC London - May 2019 - Akasa released the Turing fanless chassis, a passively cooled case that blends contemporary design with a striking top panel inspired by traditional Chinese window screens.

Perfectly balanced in cooling performance and size, the 8th Gen Intel NUC fits comfortably in a small form factor space and is cooled with an aluminium fin array radiator.

The case has a small footprint and can be set up vertically or horizontally. Optional feet can be attached to the bottom of the vertical setup. An optional second end panel can be added to the other end of the horizontal setup. It’s a perfect case for building your own Roon music server, NAS or HTPC.

Designed for 28W TDP, Turing supports 8th Gen Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processors. Connectivity includes USB 3.0 Type-A, an audio jack and dual IR microphone receivers on the front. Rear I/O features HDMI, TB3, two USB 3.0 Type-A and GbE. The case is complete with antenna fitting holes, a kensington lock, and 2.5” SATA HDD or SSD support. Dimensions are 247.9 x 113.5 x 95mm."
