Great news coming from our friend Felix over at cirrus7. The top-of-the-line 35W i7-9700T and i9-9900T are soldered CPUs. No TIM (Thermal Interface Material) between the die and the integrated heat spreader but a good old solder. This means better thermals and easier passive cooling. We're hearing that fanless systems featuring these 35W processors will be available in the coming days.
