Now that all major fanless CPU coolers are discontinued, and until Noctua's highly-anticipated fanless option is released, our favorite alternative is the Phanteks PH-TC14PE. Sold as an active cooler, the dual-tower features an industry-leading design that includes five 8mm heatpipes. It will perform especially well in vertical position, in open-air builds or in cases like the Thermaltake Core P series.
