The crappy Intel NUC skull copycat was a red flag. Placing the heat sink under the PC is a complete nonsense. It shows a lack of understanding of convection and cooling fundamentals, especially when the PC is not even VESA-mountable! For some reason, hiding heat is a pattern for some manufacturers. Avoid at all cost.
