The Akasa Turing is a series of fanless cases designed for the NUC and other small form factor motherboards from brands like ASUS and Gigabyte. The case's body is made of solid aluminum, which acts as a large heat sink to dissipate heat from the CPU without the need for a fan. The case features bi-symmetrical extruded fins on the exterior to maximize the surface area for heat dissipation. It also incorporates an internal thermal module with copper heat pipes. Multiple users report that the NUC runs cooler in this fanless case than in its original actively-cooled chassis.
