We'd love to see more pin fin heat sinks available. Unlike traditional "plate fin" heat sinks that use long, parallel walls, pin fin heat sinks feature an array of vertical posts (pins) protruding from a base plate. This specific geometry makes them particularly effective in environments with natural convection or unpredictable airflow directions. Because the pins are individual posts, air can enter and exit the heat sink from any angle.
