"The Asus NUC 16 Pro is quite impressive for such a tiny PC. Our test sample made good use of its Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, dishing out CPU performance that competed with desktops several times its size. It even outpaced a desktop AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D in the Lenovo Legion T5 30AGB10 in Geekbench 6 and Cinebench R24, despite the latter machine having a sizable tower cooler.
The Asus NUC 16 Pro is an impressive little box for all its packing, albeit a very bland one with a drab, black plastic exterior. It squeezes everything into a 0.7-liter chassis weighing just 1.5 pounds, yet still finds room for two fans and a ton of ports. It would have been nice to see some dust filtration behind its vents, though. While the 16 Pro is perhaps the easiest-to-open computer I’ve come across, with a single latch holding its base and a lid that’s easy to pry free, the heatsinks remain inaccessible for cleaning."
