Prime Computer's fanless NUC (second picture) always looked like a gold bar to us. Now the Swiss company is actually ditching aluminum for almost 7-kilograms of 18-carat gold. A precious stone can also be added as the power button. And since gold is an even better heat conductor than aluminum, temperatures should be just fine.
Available with up to 32GB RAM and 5TB of Samsung SSD, the $1 million i5 mini PC can be configured with Windows 10 Pro or Linux, which is a nice touch. The Prime Gold comes with a five year warranty.
