CPU delidding is dangerous. In fact, we do not recommend it since it WILL void your CPU warranty. That said, we still find this incredibly fascinating, especially if copper is involved. Check out this Alder Lake-compatible integrated heat spreader made out of pure copper available for $32.99. Thanks to copper's high thermal conductivity (and better TIM) temperatures improve by about to 15°C.
