According to this ASRock PDF the rumored i3 iteration of the fanless DeskMini is definitely in the works. A nice upgrade since the original Celeron 4205U is a little weak, to say the least, even as a secondary desktop. The 1.8GHz dual core Celeron will probably struggle with web browsing, and will mostly work as an entry-level server or 4K player. The i3-8145U is a much more capable and versatile CPU, similar to the Jasper Lake range. Here's a comparison between the two processors.
