EXCLUSIVE: HDPLEX H5 unveiled

The world's first 16 heat pipes fanless case (8 dedicated to the CPU / 8 optional for the GPU) will be available next week. We're lucky enough to preview this monster of a case, courtesy of HDPLEX. This 8kg chassis / cooler will handle CPU up to 95W TDP, meaning that builds with Intel's Skylake-K processors are entirely possible.

The extremely flexible H5 will accommodate ATX, microATX and mini-ITX motherboards. On the power-supply side, ATX, SFX, FlexATX, as well as HDPLEX's nanoATX and external PSUs will be compatible.

A special HDD rack will support two 2.5" SSD / HDD and one 3.5" HDD at the same time (each H5 comes with two of these racks). The H5 also comes with one rack set for 5.25" optical drive or any 5.25" device such as hotswap HDD cage, and one slim 12.7mm optical drive rack.

The H5 will also offer customized brushed aluminum power button and faceplate options to users. A Kodi or Steam logo will definitely compliment the H5's stylish design. Stay tuned to HDPLEX for the final details and the sub-$300 price.
