Vast pre-built fanless PCs offering

This top end Intel NUC 13 Pro uses the 13th Gen i7 1360P processor with "Intel 7" hybrid architecture. In total there are 12 cores, using a combination of 4 Performance-cores and 8 Efficient-cores. This enables faster performance while also being power and heat efficient. The aluminium case uses advanced heat pipes for fanless cooling. The heat is extracted from the processor and transferred to the cooling fins. This is totally silent with no moving parts.

With high performance and excellent fanless cooling, this silent "solid state" PC will be a great solution for home or business users. Intel have made a step change in performance with this new 13th Generation processor. The new "Intel 7" hybrid architecture has a combination of Performance-cores and Efficient-cores, enabling faster performance while also being power and heat efficient. The processor is directly attached to the aluminium case which is covered with cooling fins that use convection to remove heat.

This top end Intel NUC 13 Pro uses the 13th Gen i7 1360P processor with "Intel 7" hybrid architecture. The feature packed PC allows up to 4 displays simultaneously with 4K resolution. The latest Wi-Fi 6E supports standard dual band 2.4GHz and 5Ghz and the new 6E 6Ghz band. The fast PCIe 4.0 System SSD is cooled with an aluminium block with a thermal path to outside the case. A second 2.5" SSD/HDD can be selected from the options list or installed later by using the mounting bars on the inside of the PC's baseplate.

This Rackmount 1U PC has high performance and excellent fanless cooling, enabling a silent "solid state" PC for server, broadcasting and audiophile applications. The i5 13400T processor uses the latest "Intel 7" hybrid architecture with 10 cores, using a combination of 6 Performance-cores and 4 Efficient-cores. The slim PC also features a unique SSD aluminium cooling block, thermally connected to the case, that enables the SSD to be used intensely without thermal throttling.

With stylish design, small footprint, high performance and excellent fanless cooling, this silent "solid state" PC will be a great solution for home and office users. The processor is cooled passively using a copper block connected via heatpipes to an aluminium heatsink cooling panel. The case is constructed from 4mm thick aluminium panels, a 21mm thick extruded heat sink, solid aluminium rods and is made using CNC milling and finished with sandblasted/anodised surface treatment. In light use the PC draws only 10-35W of power. Even when all 8 cores of the i7 version are loaded 100% the PC only draws on average <60W of power.

The industrial grade case is manufactured in Germany and has an extremely robust design using 7kg of aluminium and steel. The embedded O-ring gaskets and silicone seals protect the inbuilt system from water spray and dust. This model features the ASUS B760i motherboard, which uses premium components throughout for stable and reliable performance. Features include 2.5Gb LAN, Wifi 6E, Displayport 1.4, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 Gen 2 with USB-C, high quality audio. The product uses a copper block on the CPU that connects to the external cooling fins using heat pipes. The motherboard's chipset is also cooled with a heatpipe. This design enables the product to not need air vents and enables it to be used in dusty/dirty environments. Because there are no moving parts and no air sucked into the case the product has zero maintenance and high reliability. The internal industrial fanless power supply enables intense 24/7 operation and no external power adaptor is needed.

Impactics back in the NUC business

Just 5 years ago, fanless NUC cases were everywhere. Unfortunately, Intel's constant I/O changes made it impossible for third party manufacturers to keep up. Ready-to-use Core-based fanless NUCs like ZOTAC's C series didn't help either.

Still, fanless NUC cases are typically more effective and beautiful than mainstream products. Impactics' D7NU1-USB is no exception and is compatible with the Kaby Lake NUC7I3 (i3-7100U) and NUC7I5 (i5-7260U).

Impactics DMono 1 available

Impactics' groundbreaking chassis - which features no heat pipe and no cooling fin - is now available in Europe for 200 euros. Similar in spirit to the Euler, the slim case provides cooling for the chipset and SSD, unlike the Akasa case. The DMono 1 is compatible with 35W processors and with two GIGABYTE Thin mini-ITX motherboards (GA-H110TN and GA-Q170TN).

FIRST LOOK: Impactics DMono series

Impactics is about to release one of the most interesting fanless case in a long time. The DMono features no heat pipe and no cooling fins either. Instead, the case is milled from a single piece of solid aluminum.

The small and heavy (2.65 kg) chassis is compatible with four Thin mini ITX motherboards from GIGABYTE and handles 35W Intel processors.

The DMono-series will be available for about 200 euros, exclusively from Caseking.de

Haswell NUC chassis are here

More cases from Impactics. This time for Intel's D54250WYK, the Haswell NUC. Several versions are coming, including one with IR port (black model above, this one is still a prototype).

Update: A version with both front audio and IR port.

Update 2: Now available @ Atlast Solutions

NUC chassis comparison test

Results for SilverStone PT14 are nothing short of disastrous. Temperatures are worst than the original actively cooled case. Akasa is doing fine and Impactics wins the race with the D1NU (and a big D1NU-EX coming from nowhere).

Revolutionary Titanics coating

Aluminium lovers rejoice. Impactics is launching an exciting dark grey protective layer that is not only easy on the eyes, but also offers an unprecedented defense against chemicals and corrosive substances (caustic soda test above). In other applications, Titanics coating can also increase heat dissipation up to 15%.

The icing on the cake is its lotus effect, making aluminium less prone to fingerprints than regular anodized surfaces.

Impactics D1NU1 unboxing

Let's put it simple: Impactics fanless NUC case is stunning. Clean design, laser cut aluminum, small yet impressively heavy (the heat spreader alone is a 220g copper bullion bar), the case just reeks of quality.
