Alder Lake collection

All Quiet PC builds are now Alder Lake-ready. The 12th Gen Intel processors offer a significant improvement over past generations, thanks to the introduction to Performance-cores (P-cores) and/or Efficient-cores (E-cores). The processors P-cores are optimised for single and lightly-threaded performance, while its E-cores, are optimised for scaling highly-threaded workloads. That means gamers, creators, and professionals can harness both intelligence and power to enhance the experiences that matter the most. All processors on the list feature P-cores, but not all offer E-cores.

Streacom goes Alder Lake

All Streacom cases are now part of Quiet PC's Alder Lake offering. All systems are fully configurable, up to 64GB of RAM and 16TB of Samsung SSD storage. We're also particularly happy to see Intel's 35W T series as an option. Quiet PC is based in the UK but does ship to 90 countries worldwide.

Alder Lake-powered workstation

Intel's exciting 12th gen processors are here but will require special attention cooling-wise. The newly introduced "Maximum Turbo Power" is a little worrying for passive PC builders. Today more than ever, 35W TDP CPUs are the way to go. Back to this one-of-a-kind system, default CPU cooler and power supply are from Nofan. Make sure to choose the Noctua NH-P1 and a fanless Seasonic PSU, you'll thank us later.

Quiet PC UltraPN51 available

Streacom DB1 MAX coming soon

While the original DB1 features a single cooling panel and is designed for 45W processors, the DB1 MAX features two cooling panels and handles 65W CPUs. Do note that the DB1 MAX is only compatible with Thin mini-ITX motherboards. Ditching the internal pico-PSU is a good thing if you ask us (Thin mini-ITX boards feature a handy DC jack). This new case will be available in March 2022 for about 110 euros.

Quiet PC's fanless NUC review

UK's IT Pro takes a look at the Quiet PC UltraNUC Pro 7 Fanless which is essentially Intel's Dawson Canyon NUC passively cooled using Akasa's Newton S7D case. The system is fully configurable on Quiet PC.

"Switching from the stock NUC case to the UltraNUC is a trade-off: the system becomes a lot larger than it was designed to be, but the annoying stock fan is ditched in favour of using the finned case as a giant passive heatsink. It's still not a large machine by normal standards, measuring 177mm across and 61mm high, but it's bigger than most of its competition and with a weight of 1.7kg, it's heavier too."

Quiet PC Nofan A830a Silent PC

Quiet PC's latest AMD system features Nofan's CR-80EH CPU cooler and the cute Masterbox Q300L case. Despite its small 387 x 230 x 381mm size the Cooler Master chassis fits full-size ATX components and up to three storage drives. The Ryzen 5 2400GE is back in stock

AMD's 35W Ryzen 3 2200GE and Ryzen 5 2400GE APUs are extremely hard to find, and this is not okay. It's particularly frustrating because these fanless-friendly chips are also gaming powerhouses thanks to their Radeon Vega 8 and Vega 11 Graphics respectively. Both are available in limited quantities from Quiet PC.

35W Ryzen APUs available

Early adopters of the Alpine AM4 Passive rejoice. The much-coveted Ryzen 3 2200GE with Radeon Vega 8 Graphics (4C/4T @ 3.6GHz) and Ryzen 5 2400GE with Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics (4C/8T @ 3.8GHz) are finally available from Quiet PC.

But there is a catch: quantities are extremely limited (less than 20 units at press time). Please note that these are OEM / tray processors, and don't come in AMD's retail box.

Fanless 35W Ryzen

The highly coveted - and hard to find - 35W Ryzen 3 2200GE and Ryzen 5 2400GE are now available in configurable systems from Quiet PC. Nofan A895 Silent Desktop

Quiet PC's new passively-cooled system features the stunning Jonsbo UMX5, a whopping 15.5kg aluminum chassis. Quiet PC's most affordable Nofan system yet

Quiet PC launches its Nofan A810 Silent Desktop. Based on the ASUS PRIME B360-PLUS ATX motherboard, Riotoro CR480 chassis, and featuring Intel's Coffee Lake processors, the highly configurable system starts from only £594 (no storage, no OS).

Cooling-wise, our advice is to use Nofan's CR-80EH only for sub-65W CPUs. Also, remember that the Nofan CR-95C is officially discontinued so don't miss the opportunity to own the legendary CPU cooler.
